These nationwide Awards recognise and reward the very best companies in the coach tourism industry and were attended by over 350 coach travel professionals at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 17th May.
Eddie Brown tours, who operate a fleet of 40 luxury coaches from their head office in Boroughbridge, won the award by demonstrating their high quality and innovative range of UK holidays from 2 day breaks in London to scenic tours covering the length and breadth of the British Isles.
The winning combination at Eddie Brown Tours includes a free door to door service on many holidays, luxury coaches with extra legroom, the best hotels and themed holidays including a popular series of garden tours escorted by a local gardening expert. Personal service, attention to detail and the highest standards of customer care are just a few of the reasons why repeat travellers account for 67% of the company’s passengers.
Managing Director Deirdre Brown, the daughter of company founder Eddie, collected the award on the night and said: “We were up against some of the country’s best coach operators in a total of 3 categories including European Holiday Programme and Operator of the Year. To win the UK Holiday Programme of the Year category is wonderful and I am delighted that our dedicated and hard-working team has been rewarded with such a prestigious award. Eddie Brown Tours has been recognised on a national level for its commitment to customer service and providing the best quality holidays both at home and further afield in Europe. It was a great night for us and we are incredibly proud of this honour.”
