Silver Service fleet set to grow to 29 strong

The expansion of Leger’s Silver Service fleet comes as the operator celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The nine new Silver Service coaches take Leger’s luxury fleet to 29 and include five 40 seater, 13 metre Silver Service coaches and four 36 seater, 12 metre Silver Service coaches.

Leading operator Leger Holidays has been awarded the title of Best Coach Operator for 2008 by UK travel agents at the prestigious national travel industry Globe Awards in London.

Peter Raynor, retail sales director, who received the award from radio and TV personality Mark Lamarr, said, ‘It’s a fantastic achievement to win the award for the second year running and demonstrates the relationship Leger has developed with travel agents’.

He added, ‘We would like to thank our all agents for their support, in particular WA Worldchoice and coachholidays.com, who are Leger’s number one agent in the UK’.

The great and the good of the travel industry gathered at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last night to find out who were the recipients of this year’s prestigious Globes Award.

The annual awards which are in their 30th year were voted for by travel agents and were presented to the winners by guest presenter comedian Dara O’Brian
